Upgrade EZClaim to a server installation from a single user installation.
Notes:
Before you begin the procedure, be sure you have access to your server either from a mapped drive or a UNC path. If you do not know what a mapped drive or UNC path is, please contact a computer consultant to perform the procedure. Please note we do not support setting up your network.
Symptom:
Use the following procedure if you have the program installed on one workstation and you have upgraded to the multi-user edition with additional licenses AND use a file server.
Solution:
Procedure 1: Backup your data from the current workstation.
1. Open EZClaim on the local workstation.

3. Enter the file name that will contain the backup data or use the ‘Browse’ button to select the backup location. For this procedure, enter C:\Backup.zip
4. Click on the ‘Backup Now’ button.
5. Your data is now in the backup file.
Procedure 2: Restore the data to the server.
1. Open EZClaim on the local workstation.

3. Click the top 'Browse' button and select the network drive that is to contain the database files.

5. Click on the ‘Restore Now’ button.
6. The data will be restored and a confirmation box will show the new database location. Confirm that it is your network drive.
Procedure 3: Install the software on the additional computer(s).
1. Move to the additional workstation to install EZClaim
2. Insert the CD. The setup program will start automatically.

Repeat for each workstation registered.
